What You’ll Learn And How This Works
This is not another course that piles on more information and leaves you wondering what to actually do with it.
Perimenopause advice is everywhere, and a lot of it is either vague, extreme, contradictory, or completely disconnected from real life.
“Eat more protein.”
“Manage your stress.”
“Lift weights.”
“Sleep better.”
“Balance your hormones.”
Okay, great. But what does that actually look like when you’re exhausted, busy, overwhelmed, sleeping like garbage, and already trying to hold everything together?
That is where this program is different.
Stuck In The Middle combines no-nonsense pre-recorded lessons, weekly live support, practical resources, and simple homework so you can stop drowning in advice and start understanding what actually matters right now.
Over 10 weeks, we help you streamline your habits, spot patterns, and make realistic adjustments around nutrition, movement, recovery, sleep, stress, and daily routines.
The goal is to replace confusion with clarity, reduce the mental load, and help you make decisions that support your body’s changing needs without extreme approaches, rigid rules, or recycled advice that was never built for this phase of life.
Why We Created This
Your sleep gets lighter. Your patience gets thinner. Your energy crashes harder. Your mood feels less predictable. Your body changes in ways that feel frustrating as hell. And the things that used to work suddenly don’t.
Then women are told:
“Your labs are fine.”
“It’s just aging.”
“Eat less and move more.”
“Welcome to your 40s.”
We say, to hell with that.
Stuck In The Middle was created by Sue and Shauna, both Certified Menopause Coaching Specialists, with over a decade of experience coaching women 35+ through nutrition, fitness, stress, consistency, body changes, and real-life health struggles.
But this is not just professional for us. It is personal too.
Sue is navigating perimenopause firsthand. Shauna is 40, already feeling early shifts while running a business and raising her daughter full-time.
We understand how hard it is to manage your health when your hormones, stress, sleep, energy, body, and brain all feel like they are changing at once.
This 10-week online program gives you clear education, realistic strategies, and support that actually fits your life, so you can stop guessing, stop blaming yourself, and start feeling more in control again.

Stuck In The Middle Course Overview
Each chapter includes education, practical strategies, and simple action steps to help you understand what is changing in your body and what to do with that information in real life.
New lessons are released weekly so you can move through the course at a realistic pace, apply what you’re learning, and avoid feeling overwhelmed by too much information at once.
-
Lesson 1: Why The Heck Do I Feel This Way?
We start by helping you understand why perimenopause can feel so confusing. This lesson looks at the common changes women experience in energy, mood, sleep, body composition, cravings, stress tolerance, brain fog, and confidence — and why these changes are not a personal failure.Lesson 2: Where to Put Your Energy When Everything Feels Harder
When everything feels like it needs fixing, it can be hard to know where to start. This lesson helps you focus on the areas that matter most first, so you can stop trying to overhaul your entire life and start building momentum with realistic, meaningful steps -
Lesson 1: It’s Not You, It’s Me… Your Hormones
This lesson breaks down the major hormone shifts that can happen during perimenopause and how they may show up in your body, brain, mood, cycle, sleep, stress response, metabolism, and overall sense of control.Lesson 2: Knowledge Is Leverage: What You CAN Control
You may not be able to control every symptom or hormone fluctuation, but you are not powerless. This lesson focuses on the habits, patterns, conversations, questions, and lifestyle supports that can help you feel more informed and less at the mercy of your symptoms. -
Lesson 1: Why Nutrition Matters More in Midlife
Nutrition can feel different in perimenopause because your body is dealing with changes in hormones, stress, recovery, sleep, blood sugar, cravings, body composition, and energy. This lesson explains why old strategies may not work the same way anymore and what your body needs more of in this stage.Lesson 2: Nourish Like A Boss: Sustainable Strategies
This lesson turns the nutrition information into real-life action. You’ll learn how to build more balanced meals, support protein and fibre intake, manage cravings, stabilize energy, and make better choices without extreme dieting, rigid tracking, or starting over every Monday. -
Lesson 1: Why More Isn’t Better Anymore
If you’ve been trying to push harder, do more, eat less, or punish your body into changing, this lesson will help you understand why that approach can backfire in midlife. We look at how stress, recovery, hormones, and training all connect.Lesson 2: More Recovery, Smarter Training
This lesson focuses on how to train in a way that supports strength, metabolism, bone health, muscle, energy, and long-term consistency. You’ll learn why recovery is not laziness and how to work with your body instead of constantly fighting against it. -
Lesson 1: Why Can’t I Sleep Anymore?
You can do everything right and still find yourself lying awake, waking through the night, overheating, tossing and turning or starting the day already exhausted. This lesson helps you understand why sleep can change so much in midlife, what may be disrupting yours, and where to focus so you can finally feel more rested, recovered and able to function like yourself again.Lesson 2: Stress, Cortisol & Nervous System Regulation
When you have been pushing through for too long, your body starts keeping score. Poor sleep, relentless cravings, low energy, slower recovery and stubborn abdominal fat can all be signs that stress and overload are taking a bigger toll than you realize. This lesson helps you understand what is happening, recognize the warning signs and create more calm and resilience without adding one more thing to your already full plate.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Live group sessions run weekly on Wednesdays from 12:00–12:45 PM Central Time.
Each session is 45 minutes long and focused on questions, discussion, troubleshooting, and real-life application.
-
Replays will be available, so you can still follow along if you can’t make it live.
We recommend attending live when you can because that’s where you’ll get the most connection, support, and clarity, but you will not fall behind if you miss a session.
-
The live sessions are where we help you apply what you’re learning.
They are not long lectures or repeat versions of the lessons. They are for real questions, real-life troubleshooting, discussion, support, and helping you figure out what actually makes sense for your body and your life.
-
Plan for about 1–2 hours per week.
That includes watching the lesson, completing the simple homework or reflection, and attending or watching the live session.
-
No.
Many women are in perimenopause before anyone officially confirms it. If your energy, mood, sleep, cycle, stress tolerance, body composition, or brain feel different than they used to, this program can help you make sense of what may be happening.
-
No. This program is fully virtual, so you can join from anywhere.
The live sessions are hosted online on Wednesdays from 12:00–12:45 PM Central Time, and replays will be available if you can’t attend live.
-
Yes, from an educational perspective.
We will help you better understand the conversation around hormone therapy, what questions to ask, and how to advocate for yourself. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace your medical provider.
-
We highly recommend the Course + Private Support option if you want a more personalized approach.
You’ll get everything included in the full 10-week program, plus two private 45-minute sessions with Sue, a Certified Menopause Specialist.
These sessions give you space to talk through your specific symptoms, questions, lifestyle, habits, and next steps so you can better understand how the course applies to you.
It’s a great fit if you feel overwhelmed, unsure where to start, or want more individual support as you move through the program.
-
This is not for someone looking for a quick fix, extreme diet, intense challenge, or rigid plan.
It’s for women who want to understand what’s happening, simplify their approach, and build realistic strategies that support their body, brain, and actual life.
-
You’ll have access to the course lessons, replays, worksheets, and resources for one full year from the start of the program.
We know life gets busy. You may miss a week, want to revisit a lesson, rewatch a coaching call, or come back to a resource months later when it feels more relevant to what you’re experiencing.
This gives you plenty of space to move through the program without feeling rushed, while still having long-term access to the tools and education you need as you continue navigating perimenopause.
-
No — and that’s intentional.
New lessons will be released weekly on Mondays at 6:00 AM so you can work through the program in a way that actually supports change, instead of just collecting more information.
We know some women will be eager to access everything right away, but when it comes to perimenopause, there can be a lot to unpack: hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, nutrition, training, symptoms, mindset, and lifestyle habits. Getting all of that at once can feel empowering for about five minutes… and then overwhelming.
This program is designed to help you piece things together step by step, with time to reflect, apply, ask questions, and build sustainable habits along the way.
The goal is not to overwhelm you with information. The goal is to help you understand what is happening in your body and make realistic changes that actually move the needle.
-
Yes. We intentionally keep the group small because this is not meant to feel like a giant webinar where you disappear into the background.
Our live coaching calls will be limited to 15 women maximum so there is space for questions, discussion, coaching, and real support.
If more women register, we will split the group accordingly so each live call still feels personal, supportive, and manageable.
This matters because perimenopause is not one-size-fits-all. Symptoms, goals, lifestyle, stress, sleep, training history, and nutrition needs can look very different from woman to woman. Keeping the group smaller allows us to provide better guidance, create stronger connection, and make sure no one gets lost in the shuffle.
-
By the end of the program, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what’s happening in your body and brain, what symptoms may be connected to perimenopause, and what habits actually matter in this stage of life.
You’ll walk away with:
A better understanding of your hormones and symptoms
Practical nutrition strategies for energy, cravings, blood sugar, and body composition
A smarter approach to strength training, movement, and recovery
Tools to support sleep, stress, mood, and consistency
More confidence advocating for yourself and asking better questions
A realistic plan you can continue using after the 10 weeks are over
-
There is nothing else like this here.
Most women are left trying to piece perimenopause together on their own — random Instagram posts, rushed appointments, vague advice, confusing symptoms, and a whole lot of “why the hell do I feel like this?”
Stuck In The Middle brings everything together in one clear, structured program.
We cover the real things women are struggling with in midlife: hormones, nutrition, strength training, sleep, stress, recovery, mood, energy, metabolism, body composition, confidence, and self-advocacy.
But we don’t just teach it. We help you apply it.
Every chapter includes education and actionable strategies, plus weekly live support, replays, resources, and private group connection so you’re not left with a bunch of information and no idea what to do next.
This is not a generic wellness course.
It’s not a weight loss challenge.
It’s not fear-based menopause marketing.
And it’s definitely not another “just eat more protein and manage your stress” conversation. It’s real education, practical tools, and honest support for women who are tired of being brushed off and ready to understand what’s actually happening in their body and brain.
